Thickness 1-5mm expanded fiberglass fabric – for cushioning pad

Expanded fiberglass fabric can be made into a cushion, and its cushioning performance comes from its three-dimensional porous fluffy structure and the mechanical properties of glass fiber:

1. Energy absorption of inter-fiber pores: The expansion process allows the fibers to form interlaced mesh voids (porosity can reach 70%-85%), and absorbs kinetic energy through elastic deformation of the fibers and compression of the pores when impacted.

2. Stress dispersion effect: The high strength (tensile strength ≥1500MPa) and rigid skeleton of glass fiber can disperse concentrated impact force to a larger area to avoid local damage.

The higher the fluffiness of the expanded fiberglass fabric, the more fiber bending paths per unit volume, and the stronger the cushioning performance. The thickness is 1-5mm, which can be customized according to the impact strength. Thick layers of material are suitable for high-energy impact scenarios.击场景。
