Acrylic Coated Alkali-proof Fiberglass Mesh Cloth
For reinforced plaster, wall insulation systems, and cementitious composites
Alkali-proof fiberglass mesh cloth coated with acrylic resin, produced from C-glass or E-glass yarns woven into a plain weave structure and impregnated with a modified acrylic dispersion. The coating enhances resistance to alkaline environments, protecting the glass fibers from attack by calcium hydroxide and other alkaline compounds present in cement and plaster. The acrylic coating also improves dimensional stability, reduces fiber shedding, and increases adhesion to cementitious matrices. Standard mesh sizes range from 4 × 4 mm to 10 × 10 mm, with areal weights from 60 to 160 g/m². The fabric is supplied in rolls with widths up to 2000 mm and is available in custom mesh configurations for specific project requirements.
